Aspect and structure:
- The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides.
- The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed.
- The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln.
- The bricks have a rough structure, irregular shape, and a strong resemblance to recovered bricks.
- The brick’s retro appearance is achieved by using a tumbling process.
Colour:
- The base of the brick is yellow.
- The different surface colours and the sand types used result in colours ranging from different shades of yellow to light pink with beige and light and dark grey shades, with white deposits visible.
- The ageing process also influences the colour shades.
- The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.
Other sizes are available on request starting from 2,000 m². Size variations may occur when blending brick types of different clay colours. Depending on the series the size may differ.
